“Moonscapes”

ArtLofts proudly presents “Moonscapes” by Jules Cozine

Moonscapes by Jules Cosine at ArtLofts. Opening reception 4/13.

Jules Cozine is a painter’s painter, working in the traditional mediums of oil on canvas and watercolor on paper. Jules Cozine’s art is semi - abstract, inspired by Helen Frankenthaler, an abstract expressionist and pioneer of the genre. Fascinated by nature, Jules’ paintings are originally inspired by cloud formations and their transparent layers. Working originally from images of moonlight through clouds over the water, the paintings have evolved into abstract interpretations that emphasize the myriad of colors seen in water vapor. The result is an extensive study in pattern, color and transparency.

The opening reception is during the Second Saturday Art Walk on April 13th, from 5 – 9 PM. ArtLofts is located at 10 5th Street North, the second floor to Florida CraftArt. Free and open to the public.
